After assigning a 16-week project to my high school photography students, I thought that this summer would be a good opportunity to create a 365 of my own. A 365 project is when 1 work is posted each day for 365 days in a row. This particular project has been started on July 8, 2015. Any photographs with prior dates have been back-dated. Each photograph on this site comes straight from the camera, save for a watermark. No cropping or editing has been done. The only 2 exceptions are the photograph you see right now, and the one on the contact page. They have been darkened (so that you can read the text), and cropped automatically by the site. If you feel drawn to a particular photograph, leave a comment to share your thoughts. Please refer to the date of the photograph(s) you are commenting about for the benefit of others involved in the discussion. Thank you, and enjoy.
| Ansel Adams | Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter. | Minor White | Often while traveling with a camera we arrive just as the sun slips over the horizon of a moment, too late to expose film, only time enough to expose our hearts. | Henri Cartier-Bresson | Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.
